These are the pictures of the storefront windows at one of Anthropologie's store in Connecticut that I interned at. I was involved with the design process and construction of these flowers. We used homemade dyes (variations of boiled beets, blueberries, and turmeric.
We used rolls of watercolor paper for each piece of the flower. We used conduit and wire to give structure to our vines and used butcher paper wrapped with tape to give the vines width and shape. We then paper mached the vines with more butcher paper and painted them.
We had to make a template for each piece of the flower at different sizes to be able to mass produce them.
